Jacob was born and raised in Lacombe, Alberta where he became immersed in the world of athletics at a young age. He enjoyed being involved with any sport he could and played volleyball, basketball, football, soccer and ran cross country in high school. After being involved with a variety of athletics, he was naturally drawn to sport performance training and injury rehabilitation.

Jacob started post-secondary at Red Deer College where he played on the Men’s soccer team for 3 years. Drawn in by the beautiful landscape and recreational opportunities, he migrated to Nanaimo where he graduated from Vancouver Island University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.

Jacob aims to provide a welcoming, calming atmosphere conducive to healing. Using evidence-based practice he looks to provide effective, individualized rehabilitation solutions and strength training programs.

In his free time Jacob enjoys running, golfing and playing soccer. He is also actively attaining Reiki certifications that will assist in providing a calming and healing atmosphere for clients.

Emily grew up in the Cowichan Valley, where she played soccer and field hockey throughout her early years. She later discovered a passion for strength training, which eventually led her to pursue a career in Kinesiology. She began her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Camosun College in 2021 and became a Certified Personal Trainer during the second year of her degree. Now a graduate, Emily is excited to apply her skills and knowledge to support others on their wellness journeys.

With experience working in multidisciplinary clinics alongside physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals, Emily works with clients in a variety of ways, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, movement education, and strength and conditioning.

She is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment, helping individuals build confidence, improve function, and discover enjoyable ways to stay active and achieve their goals.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys strength training, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
